 Prof. Rajakumar , M.Sc., Ph.D.,

Dr Rajakumar G, is completed his Ph.D degree in Thiruvallvar University and continued as Post-Doctoral Fellow in Hubei University, China, and as Assistant Professor in Konkuk University, South Korea. He published nearly 160 articles in SCI, SCIE journals with cumulative impact factor of 500+. He served as guest editor and editorial members of many reputed journals. He is one of the top 2% of scientists worldwide for the fifth consecutive year, as highlighted in the Stanford University report published by Elsevier (2020 to 2025). Presently he is doing research in the following topic (i) AI-assisted design and phytofabrication of nanomaterials for biomedical and environmental applications (ii) In vitro–in vivo toxicity profiling, nano-bio interactions, and clinical translation of nanomaterials (iii) Stimuli-responsive nanoparticles for controlled and targeted therapeutic delivery.

Dr. V. Baskar received his bachelor’s in microbiology from MK University, India, and master’s in biotechnology from Bharathidasan University, India. He received an international scholarship for his Ph.D. in molecular biotechnology from Konkuk University, South Korea. Later, he worked as a National Post-doctoral Fellow (NPDF) researcher at Bharathiar University, India, till 2018. Following the postdoctoral research, he joined as the technical expert at Tex City Biosciences Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore. Then he worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, India, in 2020-2022. He published numerous articles in reputed journals with a total of over 7500 citations and holds national patents. Dr. Baskar published several

book chapters, edited a book, and published magazines. He received several awards, including the World Top 2 Scientist award, and also served as EBM in various journals. He has been qualified for the NET-ASRB and served as a member in reputed organizations like the Indian Science Congress Association, American Society for Plant Biologists, American Society for Microbiology, Asian Phytopathological Society, National Academy of Biological Sciences, etc. Dr. Baskar received grants from DST-SERB, ANRF, TNSCST, etc

Dr. C. Ragavendran is working as an Assistant Professor-Research in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS), Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. After completing his doctoral degree, he continued his research career as a Young Professional-II in Central Institute of Brakishwater and Aquaculture (ICAR-CIBA, Chennai, Govt of India, August-21st 2020- August 31st 2022). During doctoral degree he has received University Research Fellowship (URF, 2014-2016) & CSIR-SRF-Direct (2017-2019, Govt of India). His area of expertise is the green production and physicochemical characterisation of nanoparticles employing phytochemicals and biomolecules originating from plants. Additionally, he has an experience evaluating nanomaterials biologically, including cytotoxicity, antibacterial, antibiofilm, anti-inflammatory, and biocompatibility investigations utilizing mammalian and microbial cells.

DR. Prof. IMRAN UDDIN.M.Sc., Ph.d.,

Assissant  Professor, Department of Microbiology

Imran Uddin is a Professor in Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Saveetha Dental College and Hospital, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He worked as a Senior Research Scientist at the University of Pannonia, Hungary; and as a postdoctoral fellow at Rhodes University, South Africa, and Korea University, Seoul, Republic of Korea.

 He is the recipient of a number of awards and fellowships, including the DST Fast-Track Young Scientists; CSIR- Pool Scientists and Senior Research Fellowship funded by CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research), Government of India; and the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).

His research interest lies in the fabrication of biocompatible nanostructures for nanobiosensors and flexible electronics. Moreover, his research work includes studying the interface of biology with inorganic nanomaterials, understanding the underlying biological process, and developing new industrially relevant renewable nanomaterials, as well as eco-toxicological aspects. With a focus on sustainability, he is also actively involved in investigating the environmental impact of nanomaterials, ensuring their safe and responsible use in the future.
