Dr. Pitchaimani Veerakumar obtained his M.Sc., (2004), M.Phil., (2007), and Ph.D., (2012) at School of Chemistry, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India. He worked as a postdoctoral research researcher (2012-2016) at Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences (IAMS), Academia Sinica under the guidance of Prof. Shang-Bin Liu, Taiwan. In 2016-2022, he appointed as postdoctoral research associate, National Taiwan University (NTU) under the supervision of Prof. King-Chuen Lin, Taiwan. At present, he is jointly appointed as Associate Professor in the Centre of Molecular Medicine and Diagnostics (COMManD), Department of Biochemistry, Saveetha
Dental College and Hospitals, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS), Chennai 600 077, India. He published 115+ publications (Citations: 5286, h-index: 46, i10: 91) in international/national journals and review articles. His research specialization is mainly in the preparation of bioactive nanomaterials, highly porous carbons derived from biowastes, metal-free catalysts, anti-microbial studies, electrochemical sensors, adsorption of toxic chemicals, ssupercapacitors, and photodegradation of piscicides.

Dr. Muthamizh Selvamani joined as an Assistant Professor-Research in Department of Physiology at Saveetha Dental college and Hospital. She pursued her Doctor of Philosophy (2013-2018) in Inorganic Chemistry at University of Madras, Chennai, India. She received Postgraduate (M.Sc.,) and Undergraduate (B.Sc.,) in General Chemistry from Auxilium College, Vellore affiliated to Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore. During her Ph.D., She was worked as Junior Research Fellow in UGC-UPE Phase-II Project and received NAMASTE INDO-EUROPE Visiting Fellowship to work at Department of Chemistry, Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain. The NAMASTE INDO-EUROPE Fellowship was hosted by Prof. Ramon Martinez-Manez. After successful completion of the Doctoral thesis, Dr. Muthamizh received the India’s one of the Prestigious Fellowships called National Post-Doctoral Fellowship (NPDF) awarded (2017-2019) by the Department of Science and Technology (SERB), India . This fellowship was hosted by Prof. R. Jayavel at Crystal Growth Center, Anna University, Chennai. After the completion of NPDF, Dr. Muthamizh worked as a FONDEYT Postdoctoral Fellowship (2019-2022) in Chile, Lattin America. This fellowship was carried out at University of Coception, Chile under the Guidance of Prof. David Contreras. Dr. Muthamizh research interest includes Synthesis of Nanomaterials and Polymer Nanocomposites, Electro-chemical Biosensors, Photocatalyst, Super-capacitor, Hydrogen Evolution Reaction.
